Application Privacy Policy

This policy covers the private Meta application used by First Rise Outfitters to publish content to our own Facebook Page and Instagram account. It is separate from our store Privacy Policy, which covers customers and visitors to firstriseoutfitters.com.
What this application is
First Rise Outfitters operates a private, internal tool that publishes posts to the Facebook Page and Instagram account we own and operate. It is not distributed, not offered to the public, and has no user accounts. The only person who signs in is the owner of First Rise Outfitters, using their own Facebook account, to manage our own business accounts.
The application does not collect information from customers, site visitors, or anyone who follows or interacts with our social media accounts.
What data we access
When the owner signs in through Facebook Login, the application receives:
- The Facebook Page ID and name for the Page we operate
- A Page access token that allows publishing to that Page
- The Instagram Business account ID and username linked to that Page
- Content we ourselves publish, and basic details about our own published posts
We do not request or receive friend lists, contact information, message contents, follower data, or personal information about any other person.
How that data is stored and used
The access token and account identifiers are stored in a local configuration file on the owner's own computer. They are used for one purpose: publishing and managing posts on our own Facebook Page and Instagram account.
This data is not sold, rented, shared, transferred to third parties, or used for advertising, profiling, or analytics. There is no third-party server, no hosted database, and no other person with access.
Retention
Access tokens and account identifiers are kept only while the application is in use. They are deleted when the application is removed or when access is revoked.
Data deletion
Because this application only ever accesses accounts owned by First Rise Outfitters, there is no third-party user data to delete. To remove all data associated with this application:
- Go to Facebook, then Settings & Privacy → Settings → Apps and Websites.
- Find the First Rise Outfitters application and select Remove.
- This revokes the access token immediately, and the application can no longer access the Page or Instagram account.
To request confirmation that stored data has been deleted, or to ask any question about this policy, email support@firstriseoutfitters.com. We respond to deletion requests within 30 days.
Changes to this policy
If the application's data practices change, this page will be updated and the date at the top revised.
