The Guard the Great Plains Tee puts a bull bison at the center of a heritage badge drawn from old park posters and conservation prints. Open grassland at his feet. Snowcapped peaks and pines behind him, under a red sun.

The herd came back because people decided it should. That is the entire story, and it is why the words at the base of the badge read preserve habitat, restore the herd.

Every species design starts from reference. Photographs of the animal itself, and old field guide plates from the era when careful illustration was how a species got recorded.

That is why the markings sit where they sit. The spot pattern, the fin placement, the slash under a cutthroat's jaw. Get those wrong and anyone who has held the fish will know.

Printed on the Gildan 64000 Softstyle, a 4.5 oz ring-spun cotton tee. Softstyle is Gildan's lighter, smoother cut, made for all-day wear instead of the boxy work-tee feel of their heavier blanks. Breathable enough for July on the water. Classic fit, true to size.

Solid colors are 100% cotton. Dark Heather is 35% cotton and 65% polyester, which is what gives the heather its flecked look. The Natural colorway is unprocessed cotton, so you will see small dark flecks through the fabric. That is the cotton, not a defect.

Knit in one piece as a tube, so there are no side seams to twist or rub. Twill tape across the shoulders holds the back of the garment from stretching out, and the ribbed collar keeps its shape instead of curling. Pearlized tear-away label. The artwork is printed direct-to-garment, into the fabric rather than sitting on top of it. Wash cold, inside out. Tumble dry low.
